The HydroPACT350 provides accurate and reliable data for submarine cable surveys by flowing a current at a specific frequency into the target cable. It can be operated in real time and is also compatible with fast ROVs. During cable surveys, it records the target’s position and burial depth from the ROV. It allows data to be obtained without being affected by the cable’s burial condition, the presence of metals other than iron, or the ROV’s heading.
